Celebrating the Season of Peace and Non-violence with Inspired Action and a “What If Up” Challenge!

Be a part of a global movement (and a kickin’ YouTube video for the Peace Project!) with the 2010 Celebration of culmination of the Season of Peace and Nonviolence.  Be a part of our mission to bring peace to our community and to the world through education, meditation, and inspired action!  We’re partnering with Artfest International for an “Open House” of the new “Peace-a-licious Planet” art gallery and training center!  Plus, we’re stepping into inspired action with a “What If Up” challenge to help the homeless in our community.  We’ll be putting together brown bag lunches that we can load up in our cars for times when we see people on the corner homeless and in need. Our goal is 1000 bag lunches – and we need your help to make it happen! 

Please bring a contribution for our project as your cost of admission.  Check your pantry, or add an item to your grocery list and bring it on to Dallas on April 3! We’ll supply the paper bags, sandwich baggies, and art supplies (so we can adorn each bag with a message of peace, love, and hope).  We need YOU to help us fill them!  Here’s what we need:

•Pop Tarts (3 Boxes -$5.00)

•Peanut Butter/Cheese Crackers (2-8 packs $3.98)

•Trail Mix / Nuts (to put in baggies) (14 oz. $4.00)

•Raisins (14 Box $1.99)

•Juices (4 & 6 Pack $2.78)

•Gatorade Sm. (6 pack $2.98)

•Guzzler Water (flavored) (3 for $1.00)

•Water Sm. (8 packs - 2 for $4.00)

•Goldfish (to put in baggies - $1.99)

•Applesauce (individual 3 packs - $1.79)

•Chips, Cheetos, Popcorn, Pretzels (3 for $1.00)

•Granola Bars (10 for $3.00)

•Apples Bag or assorted sm. Mini Carrots (make baggies - 2 for $3.00)

•Apple/Cherry Pies (5 for $2.00)

•Chicken Vienna Sausages (sm. Can) (2 for $1.00 **Flip Top Open)

Bring what you can in the morning and we will assemble everything from 2-3 pm. The morning will be spent organizing food, adorning our lunch bags with messages of hope, and listening to inspiring talks. ArtFest International has volunteered to produce a YouTube video of us putting together our project.
